Autumn Approaches.

I love the fall. It is such an awesome time to really see God's artistic ability come out. He gets to paint each and every season a billion times over. None is ever the same. Of course, last fall I took some awesome pictures on campus. Make sure you check them out.

Great landscape shot. There aren't many different colors on the trees, but the sky is sure nice.

Alright so you may think it's spring, but you really had to be there to understand it is the humbling beginnings of fall.

I went out to my Aunt Cathy's house to grab my winter clothes and mom ended up packing some fudge, bulldog gear, and other things to make me feel less homesick.

LOST Birthday Bash.

So we are really LOST freaks, you know? Not only did I spaz over the new DVD of Season 2, Chris threw a LOST birthday party for Arielle. I was pretty jealous because I wanted a LOST b-day.

Me a few weeks back spazzing out.

The hatch...full of presents.

Arielle through the "jungle" and on the beach.

The Dharma Shark.

It was a very fun night and one I won't soon forget.

Rosie is a Joke!

What a joke! Rosie O'Donnell's remarks on "The View" about Christianity is extrememly offensive. Here is just a snippit, but make sure to see the video clip below.
O’Donnell saved her harshest comments for the war on terror. After Hasselbeck had the temerity to mention the threat of extreme Islam, Rosie responded with her slap at Christianity:

O’Donnell: "And just one second, radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America."

This proved too much for even Behar. She replied, in a somewhat bewildered manner:

Behar: "But, but Christians are not threatening to kill us. There’s that difference. This group is threatening to kill us."

Hasselbeck also appeared surprised by O’Donnell’s comment. She maintained, "We are not bombing ourselves here in the country." The comedienne had a clever retort for this:

O’Donnell: "No, but we are bombing innocent people in other countries. True or false?"

Say No to Giving Blood.

One of the things I dislike the most is giving blood...bah! The issue I have with it is when they take the rubber band off and the blood starts to flow back into your arm. That's when I pretty much pass out. They say it is because of low-blood sugar. Hmmm...I dunno. Anyways, two girls kept me from completely backing out by talking to me. Then once it start to come back to the light I get covered in ice packs and get to drink a lot of soda. The funny thing is that I did this solely so I could overcome the fear of giving blood. I wanted to keep my manliness up, if you will.

When people that seem invincible aren't

So I am on nerves end with the death of Steve Irwin.

Most of you know how I was a fan of his show and life. I have not followed him much in the past 2-3 years, so when I opened my homepage to a picture of him and the word Dead, I was shocked. I am still sickened to the stomach as I type this in the Student Union hearing his voice over the television behind me. I could go on, but the main thing that got me to post this was my dissapointment in the humanity of people. I have seen so many friends laugh at the fact that he is dead. They laugh that this guy that seemed so huge was killed by something so little. They are dissapointed. I am dissapointed in them. Apparently respect and a sensitivity to humanity is not important to them and I will take note.

The Deep Blu

Today Chris, Arielle, Kathyrn, Chris' family, and myself went to the Tennessee Aquarium. Alot has changed since I went about 10 years ago, but alot I remembered. I could spend a whole day looking around, but we ended up spending about 3-4 hours. So below are some pictures and some commentaries!

Enjoy!

The 'Roids

We had a 'roids party for Chris tonight. The poor thing has a swollen uvela or ubela...his tonsels are swollen!

Gone! Gone!

Tonight we had a suprise going away party for Sam. Sam is leaving for Thailand on Saturday and about 21+ of us went to Kandee's apartment. We raised over $120 for her mission trip, equalling about 4,477 Thai dollars. Sam is going to be gone for 3 months! But she will be back :) We did more Catchphrase tonight as well!

Trent

JJ scrounges for what money he has to give to Sam. We wondered where he got the money and swore we saw him in the East District the other night...

Black and Kandee wait for Sam.

HERE SHE IS!!!! Now...where's the food.

Catchphrase was after the group photo and the money giving. Kandee here is having a tough time expressing her phrase.

Brent...again the pimp daddy. He claims I am the pimp, but sadly no...'tis him. If I am anything of a pimp, I get it all from him. ;)

Poor Black Kid...

I went into the living room a little after midnight or so after I heard a thud. Chris has fallen asleep in pretty much 60 seconds because I had just left the living room and he was playing with the Playstation. Not only was he out cold, he was snoring very loudly!

Minors in Chatt-Town

Still recouperating from a crazy Friday, a group of us decided to head down to Chatt-Town to have some fun. When we got there, we immediatly noticed how crowded it was. It took us forever to find parking and once we finally did, groups of people were piling down to the main streets. So our group went to Buffalo Wild Wings and played the trivia and ate the food. Everything was superb as always except the last few wings I ate were raw (yuk!). So that put a little bit of a damper on things. After that we walked around and meandered through the crowds. We got closer to the aquarium and we checked out Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream but it was crazy packed and we were going to check out ColdStone Creamery. So we went around the aquarium and onto the back street between the water and the aquarium. Elaina and I noticed that there was a HUGE festival going on and guessed that was where everyone was going. So we walked down the street while Chris, Kathryn, and Arielle were a tad hesitant. So we got up to the barriers and saw an opening and walked right past the police car and into the festival. Well, a few steps into the festival we noticed that it smelled wierd. I looked around and was all like "Oh, heck no!" and Elaina was all like, "Oh heck no!" We were at a Beer Festival and everyone around us was drinking and smoking it up. Also, everyone had wristbands and we didn't! The police apparently blocked the other guys from going in but somehow Elaina and I were able to get through without being stopped. So I quickly made it look like I had a wristband on and Elaina and I eased our way to the entrance of the festival. So we laughed so hard and high-fived each other for being so super-cool. We headed over to ColdStone while Black Chris was being patted down for drugs and we got some great ice cream. We tipped the heck out of those people because every time you give a tip they sing and do a whole routine with their scoops. So after 5 tips we continued back onto the streets and past guitar players. We decided to head back over to the river and up towards the pedestrian bridge. And so we did. We hung out for about 20 min. around this museum and glass bridge and then met up at the pedestrian bridge. The ped. bridge is apparently the biggest in the world and goes across the river and onto the other side of town. I had never been to the other side which had a ton more shops and restaurants as well as Coolidge Park (which was one of the nicest parks I have ever been to). So we hung out there for an hour and noticed that it was getting mighty late and we crusied back over to the truck and headed on back home. It was a fun night, and one that Elaina and I won't forget anytime soon.

So tonight had to of been the craziest friday night I have ever had. The pictures will explain, and I will provide commentaries under each when I get them all up. Part II will be up in a day or two.

So here is everyone sitting around. Oh...wait, there's Kyle Grace!!! Yes, he came up from Bama to visit.

Scott and Sarah hear music and are all like, "Oh my gawsh, is this Fergie?!"

So the fun continues...

They did some more suggestive dancing and I have to stop the pictures here because they get a little risque.

Did I say risque??? Umm...this picture is in no way that. ;)

The party continues at Kandee Barr's apartment around midnight. I am no drugged into this insanity.

All of us are now involved in this deep insanity.
(Concluded in Part III)

Friday Night Fun (Part III)

So now the fun escalades! We all played some game that makes us shout things at people. Quite fun!

Here is everyone ready to shout words to each other.

It's round. Squishy. Shakes. YES! It's JJ's bootie!
