God's going to ROCK this World!

I was studying John Chapter 1 and Luke 1 & 2, and I was just amazed. God just filled me with peace and He reminded me that I am going to ROCK THIS WORLD. Needless to say I danced around my dorm room for a few minutes. I am still one-eared right now (read my Lee Life blog).

Isaiah Knew

This is the answer I gave to my Theo professor for homework. I was shocked at what I put down. It's nice to be reminded of how GREAT our God is.

2. According to Isaiah, what would be the characteristics of the one who would come to set Israel free?
Isaiah gave us a clear picture of who would come to set Israel free. He said a shoot would sprout from a stump of Jesse and a branch shall grow out of his roots. The spirit of the lord would reside in him and give him wisdom, understanding, discernment, knowledge and fear of the Lord. He will not judge from his eyes or ears, but speak righteousness, equality, and faithfulness. Isaiah goes on to say that he will not be majestic nor physically attractive, and will be rejected by the people. He will be despised, accounted stricken by God, wounded for his transgressions, and crushed for his iniquities. He will be oppressed and will be like a lamb that silently goes to be slaughtered. He will be cut off from the land of the living and will die in the hands of the wicked and rich. And through all this, he will have done no violence and will have said no deceit from his mouth. Yet it is all the will of the Lord (WOW! I just cant understand why the Jews of today didn’t see that in Jesus, when it is so plainly said here!)

Beautiful Day, Bad Sinues!

Well today was yet another B-e-a-utiful day! It was in the low 70s!!!! However, I woke up with my throat feeling horrible. As the day went on I felt worse and worse, and the medicene wasn't working. After Theology, I noticed every bone in my body was so sore. So I wasn't able to go on another nice walk. It was amazing yesterday walking all around town and the campus and seeing people sitting on benches or lying on blankets. Spring is ALMOST here!

Well, I ended up coming back and lying in bed and resting till I forced myseld to go eat dinner and then run by Walgreens. So I am about to knock myself out! Wish me luck!

Hello World!

Today is beautiful! To go from snow on Monday to the mid-sixties on Wed. is freaking awesome! We have convocation all this week, and it has been pretty interesting so far...we'll leave it at that. God has been doing a lot lately in me and a few of my pals, so definatly some prayer needed. But, thank God I haven't had much homework this week. Valentine's Day was nice, took two girls out to eat and the to Dairy Queen. So, I am enjoying things and being patient with God.

Manly Man of God

I realized tonight (thanks to the man upstairs) that I am not just a man, but a man of God. Well, I've always been a man of God, but I just feel like a man! Okay, I watched Diary of a Mad Black woman (a Tyler Perry movie) last night and in one scene that you think they are going to have sex, you see them laying together, but the girl says "Orlando gave me something better than sex, he gave me intimacy". Holy CRAP, is that SWEET or what?! Listen to that all you movie directors. A man actually wants to save it for marriage! Tyler Perry is the MAN! Awesome to find real male role models. God is awesome.

I can't wait for my woman! HAHA!

Reaxing Saturday...and studying too.

Saturday....ahhh, sleeping in, eating, relaxing, and homework. HOMEWORK?! Yep, I've got a lot to do. 2 papers and an exam plus many pop quizzes. But, tonight I went to a Chineser Buffet and ate too much! :( But it was still awesome!!! Now I am going to relax and watch a movie.

WOW! I just threw together my reflection essay for English and he gave me a 100! But it was only the rough draft and I have a lot more to do!

I just got excited about Math. Someone please slap me now! I think I actually did great on my exam on Monday. I am hoping to find out tomorrow that I made at lease a B. I am proud!
