Mood Lifter!

A Great Team

Last Wednesday I got to go to my first staff meeting at Mountain Lake. It is not neat to be an official intern at Mountain Lake and go behind-the-scenes and see how hard-working these guys (and gals) really are. I would have never known the amount of work they put into their job. They are such a team and so real. I was shocked to listen in on how their lives have been over the past week or two and they are honest. Life sometimes sucks or sometimes we question if what we are doing is what we really enjoy. Sometimes we have to go through valleys to get to the other side. It makes me feel great to know that these guys are just as much sinners as I am. 

This is from Wednesday. I take my last two finals today!

As I try to study for my Economics final on Thursday I can’t help but notice the same (well, I assume the same) caterpillar greets me as he inches his way across the patio. It’s quite funny to see him again. You know, I am so blessed. I can’t believe I am actually sitting on a patio! I was thinking earlier as I kept attempting to study for the exam that my Dad has always dreamed of having a nice patio to relax on, and finally we do here at out new house. I don’t think a day has passed by that we have not been out on the patio. It is just so welcoming as it almost seamlessly runs into the sod grass that is beautiful. It gives us so much more of an excuse to have community and to reflect and relax. How awesome is that?

No. Not the movie! I am 21! Wow?! I have had an amazing 21 years so far and all leading up to an awesome past year where I got to go to Kenya and Jamaica! I look forward to an amazing bazillion more years!

He's Meeting My Expectations!

He's doing it! God is blowing me away! I have seen Him working in the lives of others as well as in mine. Today I have my big presentation in Historiography and then there is just one paper between me and Jamaica! WOW! And I am not stressed!
